SUPERVALU Declares Quarterly Dividend

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

SUPERVALU INC. (NYSE:SVU) today announced that its board of directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.1725 per share. The dividend is payable on December 15, 2008 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on December 1, 2008. As of October 2, 2008, there were approximately 211.8 million shares outstanding. SUPERVALU has consistently paid a dividend for 70 years.
